We all came to Masonry for our own reasons. In our search for enlightenment we have all traveled our own path. The Masonic order is in it's own right a map with a key and guide to the best things life and eternity can offer.

Friendship, purpose, and a fresh perspective. A code to live by. A home beyond your home. A worthy cause and tradition that spans human history. What treasures have learning and living a Masonic life led you to? While there may not be a National Treasure hidden by the Masons in our lodge there are many riches in the search for that which was lost. Share your thoughts below to guide your brothers to share in the treasures Neoacacia and Masonry have given you.

It reinforced the idea that improvement can't happen without change. The idea of relaxing and enjoying where you're at is a very attractive, but ashlars don't carve themselves.

I'm also particularly drawn to the lesson taught by the pair of compasses. It's not earth-shattering, but its scope and applicability is vast.

I really enjoy the lessons that help to put such abstract and complex concepts into simple working tools. It helps remind me to stay humble and to try not to complicate things. The idea that the mysteries can be reduced to a journeyman's tools is spectacular.

I think another treasure I have found is optimism in the face of adversity. The balance of being realistic in evaluating where the lodge.Masonry in genera, and myself is without losing faith and hope that I can make a change for the better is truly a priceless treasure.
